Rack Profiles allow standardization of Rack technical and cost data across multiple projects within a company and also simplify the entry of this data within each project. Rack Profiles allow users to create, save and edit Rack data.
Note – Rack costs may be overridden within the project in which the Rack is loaded. However the technical aspects of the Rack may only be edited from within the Rack profile.
Create a New Rack Profile:
Step 1: Go to Your Account and select Rack Profiles.
Step 2: Click on + Create Rack Profile.
Step 3: Enter a Profile Name for the Rack Profile. This will be the name that is displayed within the project interface and displayed within reports.
Step 4: Enter the Rack Manufacturer and Model Number.
Step 5: Select the rack type as either Fixed-Tilt, Single-Axis Tracker (Simplified) or Single-Axis Tracker (Detailed Length).
Step 6: Enter the Rack technical data and costs.
Step 7: Click Save Profile.
Edit an Existing Rack Profile:
Step 1: Go to Your Account and select Rack Profiles.
Step 2: Find and Select the Rack Profile you wish to edit from the Rack Profile list.
Step 3: Click Edit and proceed to edit the technical and cost fields as needed.
Step 4: When finished editing, click Save Profile.
Note – If a Rack is loaded within a project and edits are made to Rack characteristics, these edits will not take effect within the project until the Rack is reloaded within the project.
Delete an Existing Rack Profile:
Step 1: Go to Your Account and select Rack Profiles.
Step 2: Find the Rack Profile you wish to delete from the Rack Profile List.
Step 3: Click Remove to delete the profile.
